BTSC Wrestling Visits Northern Illinois University

Yesterday was a day to remember for our wrestlers and their families as they visited Northern Illinois University (NIU) for an exciting and inspiring experience.

The day began with a guided tour of NIU’s impressive athletic facilities, led by none other than BTSC coach and NIU wrestling alumnus Alexis P. Rivera. The tour provided our wrestlers with a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to compete at the collegiate level.

The highlight of the visit was attending an exhilarating dual meet between Northern Illinois University and Purdue University. After the match, our young athletes had the incredible opportunity to meet many of the wrestlers, including the nation’s #1-ranked wrestler at 125 lbs, Matt Ramos!

A heartfelt thank you to Coach Ryan Ludwig and the NIU wrestling team for their warm hospitality and for giving our kids an unforgettable experience. Visits like these inspire the next generation of champions!
